Turkey Shore Distilleries is rum company in Ipswich Massachusetts. They needed a logo for their corporate identity as well as a logo for their rum line, Old Ipswich Rum. We suggested that we use the client’s dog Delia as the spokesmodel for the TSD corporate logo. We commissioned in-house artist Carrie Green to draw the Black Lab “pointing” at a rum barrel. We used this image along with the company’s name to create a logo that reflects the old rum running heritage of Ipswich’s Turkey Shore area.
Our next task was to design a logo for their Old Ipswich Rum line. Again, we wanted a logo that would incorporate the old feel of Ipswich’s historical heritage. We were also asked to create unique bottle labels for two of the rums that TSD would be producing. Again, we commissioned Carrie Green to draw 2 old Ipswich scenes for their White Cap and Tavern Style rums.
